Daily Departures for Humantay Lake

  • Reservations are accepted until 9:00 PM the day before the tour, providing you with the flexibility to secure your place without any complications, whether online or in person. Prepare for an unforgettable adventure!

  • Not included in the price, and you can purchase these tickets at the entrance gate of Humantay Lake. The cost is 20 soles (approximately 6 USD) for foreign visitors, while for Peruvians it is 10 soles.

Itinerary

Humantay Lake. Its a well-planned and organized trip with enough time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and take pictures. It’s also good to know that the time spent at the lake can vary depending on the weather conditions, so it’s best to be prepared for all possibilities. The stop for breakfast and lunch is a great addition to the itinerary as it provides a chance to refuel and recharge before and after the hike. Overall, it sounds like an exciting and memorable experience.

  • 4:30 AM -5:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco.
  • 5:00 AM – 7:30 AM: Drive to Mollepata, a small town located in the Anta province.
  • 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast at a local restaurant in Mollepata.
  • 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Continue driving to Soraypampa, a small village located at the base of Humantay Mountain.
  • 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Start the trek to Humantay Lake, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • 11:30 AM – 12:00: Arrive at Humantay Lake and enjoy the breathtaking views of the turquoise blue water and surrounding mountains, guide explanation. Take photos, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.
  • 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Descend back down to Soraypampa.
  • 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM: lunch in Mollepata
  • 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Return drive to Cusco.
